Sophie Leonard Takes Fox Unscripted Helm

Sophie Leonard has been elevated to executive vp of unscripted programming at the Fox Television Network. In this new capacity, she will direct all facets of the network's unscripted content, including its development, production, and strategic direction. This role encompasses a significant portion of Fox's primetime schedule.

Leonard's appointment signifies a strategic move for Fox, aiming to leverage her expertise in creating high-impact unscripted entertainment. She previously co-founded Samphire Films, serving as its creative director. Her background includes substantial experience as a producer and creative director for various production companies.

Her career highlights include producing numerous unscripted series. Most notably, she was an executive producer for 'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test' and its British counterpart, 'SAS: Who Dares Wins.' Other notable credits include Netflix's 'Jerry Springer: Fights, Camera, Action' and 'Ashley Madison: Sex, Lies & Scandal.'

Leonard expressed excitement about the opportunity, citing the network's ambitious growth and creative freedom. She aims to leverage her experience and transatlantic relationships to develop bold, globally appealing unscripted programming for Fox.
