Sophia Bush Reveals Chad Murray's Infidelity in Memoir

Sophia Bush has broken her silence regarding the infidelity that ended her marriage to Chad Michael Murray, as detailed in her memoir "And I Will Tell You Mine," released on October 27, 2026. The "One Tree Hill" actors, who met on set in 2003, married in April 2005.

Five months after their wedding, Bush and Murray separated. Bush subsequently filed for an annulment citing fraud, which was denied, but the divorce was granted in December 2006. They continued working together until the show concluded in 2009.

In her memoir, Bush describes learning about Murray's affairs from one of his best friends two days after the wedding. She revealed shocking details, including another woman residing in his Los Angeles home while she was filming in North Carolina.

Bush alluded to past "boys' nights" and missed calls as instances of infidelity. She also recalled a comment from Murray's father at the rehearsal dinner about an Australian co-star, which now holds a chilling significance.

Following the public humiliation and "cruel jokes" stemming from the divorce, Bush eventually remarried Grant Hughes in 2022, divorcing him in 2023. She found new love with Ashlyn Harris, whom she married in upstate New York in the summer of 2025. Murray has been married to Sarah Roemer since 2015 and they have three children.
