Sony Pictures Television has opened submissions for its enhanced Elevate Actors Fellowship. This initiative is specifically crafted as a career launchpad for emerging and diverse talents in scripted television.
The program encompasses five weeks of intensive masterclasses and comprehensive industry training. Fellows will benefit from direct access to influential figures, including casting directors, showrunners, and senior leadership within Sony Pictures Television.
This year's fellowship is an expansion of previous efforts, building on the foundation of the studio's diverse directors program. The overarching Elevate initiative aims to establish a unified pipeline for actors, writers, and directors.
The program concludes with a significant showcase event held on the Sony Pictures lot. This event is designed to attract over 150 casting directors, agents, EPs, and showrunners, creating a prime environment for participants to secure auditions and bookings.
Alumni from the various Elevate fellowships have achieved notable career successes. Members of the previous actors fellowship have secured roles in series such as "For All Mankind" and "Abbott Elementary." Writers have been staffed on shows like "S.W.A.T. Exiles," and directors have shadowed on numerous SPT series.
Applications for the actors program opened on February 24, 2026. The fellowship itself is scheduled to take place in Culver City, California, running from mid-August through mid-September 2026.
