In the lead-up to the Tokyo International Film Festival, Sony Pictures International Productions (SPIP) has revealed ambitious plans to expand its live-action adaptation of anime and manga properties. SPIP's executive VP, Shebnem Askin, told attendees at the TIFFCOM market that the studio is actively seeking new anime projects to adapt for global audiences.
