Sonali Kulkarni's daughter Kaveri co-hosts podcast with US teens

Actor Sonali Kulkarni's podcast, Half Ticket Full Nagrik, has released a new episode that extends its reach beyond India. This latest installment features two Indian-origin teenagers, sisters Swara and Aarohi, who are growing up in San Diego, California. Adding a special touch, Kulkarni's 14-year-old daughter, Kaveri, makes her debut as a co-host for this episode.

The conversation among the three teenagers delves into various aspects of their lives, including social media, friendships, and the complexities of culture and identity. Kaveri played a crucial role in bridging the generational gap, explaining internet culture and modern slang to her mother. This intergenerational exchange highlights the different ways young people experience the world.

The episode also touches on broader themes such as the evolution of childhood friendships post-pandemic and embracing one's identity and faith while living abroad. Swara and Aarohi shared their strong connection to India, with one visiting annually for classical music lessons and the other practicing Kathak. The podcast continues its mission to understand children's emotions and worldviews from diverse backgrounds.
