Sonali Bendre Presents 'Sohla': A Journey of Choices

Sonali Bendre has unveiled the first poster for 'Sohla,' marking her debut as a film presenter. The movie centers on Pashya, a 13-year-old boy, and delves into themes of family, hope, and the significant choices that shape a young life. The film is slated for a theatrical release on October 16, 2026.

'Sohla,' meaning celebration, highlights a significant coming-of-age ceremony where a boy wears his father's chappals for the first time, symbolizing his transition into manhood. The story follows Pashya's anticipation for this ritual, which brings new clothes, blessings, and family gatherings.

However, unexpected events prompt Pashya to make crucial decisions before he is ready. Bendre expressed her rare decision to present 'Sohla,' stating her deep connection to the film's narrative. Director Saaikat Bagbaan aims to celebrate childhood and family moments, with Pashya at the core of this emotional journey.

Produced by Goldie Behl and directed by Saaikat Bagbaan, 'Sohla' features an ensemble cast and is being distributed nationwide. The film promises a heartfelt look at formative life experiences.
