Sonal Chauhan's Mirzapur Dive: Nerves Met with Director's Focus

Sonal Chauhan is making her debut in the acclaimed gangster drama Mirzapur: The Movie, taking on the role of Mumtaz Bibi. Upon learning of her casting, Chauhan admitted to feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness. She shared that the presence of many iconic characters, already beloved by the audience, initially intimidated her.

However, Chauhan found comfort in the director's approach. She highlighted that the director places special emphasis on developing every character, ensuring no one is overlooked. This directorial focus helped alleviate her initial apprehension, allowing her to fully embrace the role.

The actress also recounted the challenging yet enjoyable experience of filming the song 'Ghum Ghum'. Despite facing difficult weather conditions over three days, she found the shoot to be fun, partly due to working alongside familiar faces from the Mirzapur universe.
