Sonakshi Sinha Embraces In-Laws' Warmth, Chooses Family Over Separate Living

In June 2024, Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha tied the knot with actor Zaheer Iqbal. Now, over a year later, Sonakshi has opened up about her life post-marriage and her close bond with her in-laws.

Sonakshi revealed that she and Zaheer chose to live with his parents, even though Zaheer had asked her before marriage if she wanted to live separately. Sonakshi said she told Zaheer, "I will live with them; if you want to go, you go." She described her husband's family as "very chill" and a "close-knit family" with whom they enjoy spending time together.

Interestingly, Sonakshi also admitted that neither she nor her mother-in-law knows how to cook. However, this doesn't seem to be an issue, as Sonakshi said, "My mother cooks so well, and her only thing is that her daughter doesn't know how to cook. My mother-in-law also doesn't know how to cook, and she says that you got married in the correct house."

On the work front, Sonakshi is gearing up for the release of her upcoming supernatural thriller Jatadhara, which marks her Telugu debut. The film, co-starring Sudheer Babu and Shilpa Shirodkar, is slated to hit theaters on November 7, 2025, in both Telugu and Hindi.
