Sonakshi Sinha Demands Stricter Laws Against Online Harassment

Actor Sonakshi Sinha has publicly expressed her distress over the increasing trend of online harassment directed at film industry professionals. Speaking at a recent event in Mumbai, Sinha highlighted that both actors and film critics are frequently subjected to "open attacks" online, with little recourse available.

She advocated for the implementation of stricter laws and regulations to effectively manage and curb this digital abuse. Sinha emphasized the inadequacy of current measures in addressing the situation where anyone can post arbitrary comments online without significant consequences.

In addition to her concerns about online safety, Sinha has expanded her professional portfolio this year by venturing into Telugu cinema with the supernatural thriller 'Jatadhara.' The actor recently married Zaheer Iqbal in a civil ceremony held at her Mumbai home.
