Soha Ali Khan, who recently returned to acting with an OTT show, has expressed a clear disinterest in directing, contrasting with her husband Kunal Kemmu's career transition. She finds immense satisfaction in acting and being in front of the camera, viewing directing as a demanding role requiring significant foresight and planning, qualities she believes Kemmu possesses and thrives on.

Despite her own reluctance to direct, Ali Khan voiced enthusiasm for potentially acting in a film helmed by her husband. She lauded Kemmu's multifaceted talent in acting, directing, and writing, particularly praising his dialogue writing. However, she noted that working with a spouse can be challenging and would depend on the right project aligning with Kemmu's vision for her role.

Ali Khan also reflected on her career selectivity, acknowledging that while some might question her choices, she picks roles that excite her and allow for impact. She emphasized that acting is just one facet of her life, with parenting, travel, reading, writing, and learning also being crucial sources of fulfillment. Motherhood significantly influenced her, leading to a period of intense focus on her child, but she is now rediscovering her personal passions and exploring acting opportunities.
