Snoop Dogg has released a new animated music video for his 1993 hit "Lodi Dodi." The visuals were crafted by Tristan Zammit, an animator and director known for his distinct style. Zammit's previous credits include music videos for artists such as Juice WRLD and XXXTENTACION.
The "Lodi Dodi" video features an in-studio performance by Snoop Dogg, interwoven with animation depicting the rapper as a cartoon character. This new visual interpretation breathes life into the classic track, which was originally released during the peak of the G-funk era.
"Lodi Dodi" itself serves as a tribute to Doug E. Fresh and Slick Rick's iconic 1985 song "La Di Da Di." The original song played a role in shaping the hip-hop sound of the early 1990s.
In separate Snoop Dogg news, the rapper recently concluded his search for an ice cream taster, hiring violinist Annabelle Traves for the role.
