Sky has appointed seasoned comedy executive Lisa Clark as the commissioning executive for "Saturday Night Live U.K.". Clark will collaborate with Sky's unscripted entertainment division to develop the series for a British audience.
With over twenty years of experience in comedy and entertainment, Clark has an impressive background. Her previous work includes executive producing the BAFTA-nominated "Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing" and other notable shows like "Top Gear." She also has producer credits on cult favorites such as "My Dad Wrote A Porno."
The upcoming "SNL U.K." is the first British adaptation of the 50-year-old NBC franchise. The show is set to launch on Sky and the streaming service Now. It will retain the original's live, fast-paced format, featuring a new cast, guest hosts, and musical performers.
