- Prince William's chat show interview and Bake Off stars mocked.
- SNL UK hilariously spoofs popular British television shows.
The British television landscape was humorously satirized on "SNL U.K." during a recent cold open. The segment featured a spoof of Prime Minister Andy Burnham's appearance on "Celebrity Gogglebox," with the character, played by George Fouracres, discussing television highlights alongside Liverpool Mayor Steven Rotheram.
The popular sketch comedy show then turned its attention to other prominent British programs. This included a send-up of "The Celebrity Traitors," with Celeste Dring impersonating host Claudia Winkleman. Prince William's recent interview on "The Graham Norton Show," where he discussed his film preferences and "The Celebrity Traitors," was also parodied, featuring a humorous exchange about his brother Harry.
Further spoofs targeted "The Great British Bake Off," with impressions of Noel Fielding and Alison Hammond. The segment concluded with a surreal interruption from a future version of Burnham, who advised the Prime Minister to avert a cyberattack by encouraging the public to buy more beans.
