SNL Sketch Hilariously Parodies Netflix Mega-Hit

On October 5th, 2025, the season premiere of Saturday Night Live featured a hilarious sketch parodying a recent Netflix mega-hit movie. Host Bad Bunny played the role of Thomas, a man who was utterly obsessed with the film. During a brunch with friends, Thomas repeatedly labeled his companions as "stupid dummies" for not sharing his intense fascination with the movie.

To Thomas' delight, he imagined the band from the film, Huntr/x, appearing at the brunch table to perform their chart-topping song "Golden." The real singers, Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami, popped up in Thomas' fantasy, providing backup vocals. However, the brunch was soon interrupted by the arrival of the demonic character Jinu, played by Bowen Yang, who demanded the group's souls and sang "Soda Pop," transforming one of Thomas' friends into a drooling demon.

Fortunately, Huntr/x came to the rescue, joining the group at the brunch table to sing "Golden" and save the day with their upbeat performance and backup dancers.
