SNL Alum Hilariously Mixes Up Pedro Pascal's Name

In February 2025, former Saturday Night Live cast member Leslie Jones was part of the big SNL50 anniversary special. One of her favorite moments from the experience was meeting The Last of Us actor Pedro Pascal.
However, Jones had a hard time remembering Pascal's name when they met. "And Pedro, is it Pedro?" she asked on Vulture's Good One podcast, still struggling with his name. Jones admitted she had called him "Pablo" until he told her his name was actually Pedro. The back-and-forth continued, with Jones insisting on calling him "Pablo" even after he corrected her.
Despite the name mix-up, Jones found Pascal "so cute" and the interaction one of the highlights of the star-studded SNL50 event. The comedian was part of a "Black Jeopardy" sketch that night, along with fellow SNL alums Eddie Murphy, Tracy Morgan, and Chris Rock.
Pascal, who hosted SNL in 2023, was one of the many celebrities who participated in the anniversary special, including Scarlett Johansson and Tom Hanks. He joined the "Domingo: Vow Renewal" sketch, where he and Bad Bunny played the lothario's hot brothers.
