A remarkable 53-foot, double-decker motorhome once owned by actor Will Smith has been transformed into a luxurious glamping experience. Known as 'The Heat,' this custom-built vehicle by Anderson Mobile Estates served as Smith's on-set residence for films like 'Ali' and 'Men in Black 3.' Weighing 30 tons and boasting 1,200 square feet of deployable living space, it features high-end amenities including a screening room and a sauna shower.
Originally commissioned to provide a home-like environment for the star, 'The Heat' was an ambitious project costing approximately $4 million. After over a decade of use by Smith, the motorhome has found a new purpose at 7744 Ranch, a glamping resort near Austin, Texas. While it once commanded $9,000 per night for film productions, it is now accessible to the public for $295 per night, offering a unique opportunity to stay in a piece of Hollywood history.
Anderson Mobile Estates, founded by Ron and Natalie Anderson, has a legacy of creating bespoke mobile living spaces for celebrities. Their approach focuses on making the space feel like a personal sanctuary, a principle applied to Smith's elaborate motorhome. The resort now offers guests a nostalgic glimpse into the extravagant lifestyle once enjoyed by a leading Hollywood figure.
