Slipknot has officially confirmed the departure of DJ and keyboardist Sid Wilson from the band's lineup. The group issued a brief statement indicating they would "no longer be associated" with Wilson, who joined in 1998.
Wilson's exit follows reports in late July that he had been removed from the band. As one of the original nine members, his departure continues a period of significant change for Slipknot.
