Skylight Music Theatre is set to captivate audiences with its 2026-2027 season, announced on March 16. The theater's artistic director, Michael Unger, will helm productions of the iconic 'Gypsy,' running from September 25 to October 18, and the holiday-themed 'Big,' from November 13 to December 27.
Further highlights include the emotionally resonant 'Dear Evan Hansen,' a Tony winner for best musical, which tackles themes of social media's impact, playing from January 22 to February 7, 2027. "A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder," another Tony winner celebrated for its dark humor, is scheduled for March 12-28, 2027.
The season will culminate with "Rock of Ages," a vibrant jukebox musical packed with hits from legendary '80s rock bands such as Bon Jovi and Pat Benatar, directed and choreographed by Stephanie Staszak from April 16 to May 2, 2027. All performances will take place at the Broadway Theatre Center, located at 158 N. Broadway.
