10 Dec, 2025
Summary
- Two long-standing children's rides may be demolished.
- One ride has a history dating back to 1970.
- Park company reviews underperforming properties for sale/closure.

Six Flags Magic Mountain is preparing to demolish two of its well-established children's attractions. Permit filings indicate that the steel kids roller coaster, likely the Magic Flyer, and the steel swing ride, presumed to be Tweety's Escape, are slated for removal.
The Magic Flyer boasts a significant history, originally operating at a different Los Angeles park before relocating to Magic Mountain in 1970. Tweety's Escape, themed after the Looney Tunes character, debuted in 1985. The park has not yet released an official statement regarding these plans.
This potential demolition comes as Six Flags Entertainment Corporation continues to assess its park portfolio. Following the closure of Six Flags America, the company announced a review of underperforming properties, with the possibility of future sales or closures to maintain financial flexibility.
