Six Flags Holiday Event Returns, Redesigned
5 May
Summary
- Holiday in the Park returns to two Six Flags parks.
- The event has been completely redesigned from the ground up.
- New themed lands, indoor attractions, and entertainment featured.
The "Holiday in the Park" event is making a comeback at Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson Township, New Jersey, and Six Flags Over Georgia near Atlanta. This popular seasonal celebration, which was canceled at these parks last year, has been entirely reimagined for the upcoming season.
Six Flags Entertainment Corporation announced that the event will feature three brand-new, immersive themed lands designed to transform the parks into festive storybooks. Guests can also anticipate an indoor walk-through attraction suitable for all ages, opportunities for cookie and gingerbread house decorating, seasonal tasting menus, and an increased amount of live entertainment.
While specific operating dates and details are yet to be announced, most thrill rides and children's areas are expected to remain open and be adorned with holiday lights. The decision to bring back and redesign the event follows feedback from park guests who missed the traditional holiday festivities.
