Sithara Krishnakumar's Melodic Masterpieces Captivate Malayali Listeners

In the past year, one song that has resonated deeply with Malayali listeners is "Minnalvala," which features the vocals of Sithara Krishnakumar and Sid Sriram. Sithara reveals that she recorded the song just a day before the film's (Narivetta) audio launch, after being called in by the composer, Jakes (Bejoy) ettan. She was initially doubtful about the low octave of her parts, but the final result has been widely appreciated by the Malayali audience.

Sithara's versatility is further showcased in her recent collaboration, "Neray Veeray" for the film Dheeram. Sung alongside Murali Gopy (the director) and Unmesh Krishna, the song has become a chartbuster, with Sithara praising the brilliant composition by Manikandan Ayyappa. She prefers to learn the songs directly from the composers, as it helps her retain the essence of the music.

In addition to her successful playback singing ventures, Sithara is also actively involved with her band, Project Malabaricus. The group is currently working on a new single, which Sithara promises will be different from their usual style. The singer sees independent stages as a platform to express herself freely, alongside the thrill of performing for large audiences through playback singing.
