Disco group Sister Sledge has been revealed as the final headliner for a new music festival scheduled for June 6 and 7. Summer Fest at the Beach will take place on the sandy shores of Weston-super-Mare.
The lineup also features performances by Craig David, Blue, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Madness, and Razorlight, promising a diverse musical experience. This event revives the spirit of large seaside music gatherings previously held in the town.
Organizers are optimistic about the festival's success, noting that more than 46,000 people have registered interest. Approximately 15,000 tickets have already been sold for the inaugural day.
Founder Ian Rogers expressed excitement, highlighting Weston-super-Mare's history of hosting major music events and the strong regional demand for such a large-scale seafront festival.
