Streetsboro 'Singing Bus Driver' Crowned Voice of Ravenna

Carl Seiter, a Streetsboro City Schools employee renowned as the 'singing bus driver,' has been crowned the winner of the second annual The Voice of Ravenna competition. The contest concluded on July 25 during the Ravenna Rocks concert event, which also featured performances by various local bands. Seiter, who resides in Bedford but works in Streetsboro, expressed his deep passion for country music, stating it is his primary genre. He noted that his fan base, particularly in Portage County, has strongly embraced his music. The top three contestants from The Voice of Ravenna, including Seiter, will have the opportunity to perform again in September at the Ravenna Balloon A-Fair. The Ravenna Rocks event, organized by a group of local volunteers this year, offered a full day of activities beyond the singing competition, including vendors, food trucks, and various family-friendly contests.
