Singer's Lyrics Lay Bare Demise of Her Marriage

In a recent interview, a popular singer-songwriter has opened up about her upcoming album, which is heavily influenced by the breakdown of her marriage to actor David Harbour. According to the singer, the lyrics in several songs directly reference the events that led to the end of their four-year union.

One track, titled "Sleepwalking," includes the lyrics "You let me think it was me in my head / And nothing to do with them girls in your bed," seemingly alluding to Harbour's alleged infidelity. Another song, "Dallas Major," features the lines "You know I used to be quite famous that was way back in the day / I probably should explain how my marriage has been open since my husband went astray."

The singer, who has yet to announce a release date for the album, acknowledged that while the lyrics are inspired by her personal experiences, they are not entirely factual. "There are things that are on the record that I experienced within my marriage, but that's not to say that it's all gospel," she explained.

Following the separation, the singer sought professional help, spending time in a "treatment center" and undergoing both group and individual therapy. "I just feel very grateful to have been given the time and the space that I needed," she said.

The news of the couple's split first emerged in February 2025, with multiple sources confirming their separation after four years of marriage. The former couple, who were first linked in 2019, had tied the knot in a Las Vegas ceremony in September 2020.
