New details have emerged regarding the death investigation of former One Direction tour opener, Camryn Magness. The 26-year-old singer passed away on the evening of December 5, 2025, in Miami Beach, Florida, due to internal bleeding sustained in an electric scooter accident.
According to a police report, Magness was riding the scooter with her fiancé when a pedestrian unexpectedly ran from the sidewalk into their path, causing a collision. Magness was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital's Ryder Trauma Center, where she later died from her injuries.
The pedestrian involved suffered non-life-threatening head injuries, while Magness's fiancé was unharmed. Neither Magness nor her fiancé were wearing helmets during the incident. Authorities noted construction in the area required pedestrians to use a bike lane, deviating from the sidewalk.
Magness had a notable career, having served as a tour opener for One Direction on their "Up All Night" and "Take Me Home" tours, and for Fifth Harmony on their "7/27 Tour" in 2016.
