In a recent interview, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings star Simu Liu, 36, revealed his surprising new obsession - paddle ball. Liu says that during his time off from filming, he's been enjoying days spent with friends playing various racket sports, with paddle ball being his latest passion.
"I've become really obsessed with paddle ball," Liu shared. He explained that many of his co-stars, including Woody Harrelson and James Marsden, have introduced him to the sport while working on productions in Europe over the past few years. "They'll drag me to the courts, and I'll just have the best time," Liu recalled.
The Barbie actor emphasized that his perfect day off involves doing activities completely unrelated to his movie career. "It's definitely days spent with friends doing something not even remotely related to movies or movie-making," he said. In addition to his newfound paddle ball hobby, Liu has also found time to lend his voice to the Netflix animated film In Your Dreams.
