Simran & Jayaram Unite for First Lead Roles!

A new romantic comedy from director Sy Gowthamraj marks the first time Simran and Jayaram will share lead roles. The duo previously co-starred in the film Panchathanthiram. Gowthamraj noted that the film aims to capture the distinct ways love and relationships were expressed in the 1990s and 2000s compared to today.

He explained that Simran and Jayaram were chosen to represent that earlier era of hesitant courtship. The film's narrative will extend beyond romance to delve into significant family matters, examining the conflict between traditional and modern values within a family unit.

Simran is set to play a dancer in the movie. Gowthamraj also praised Simran, similar to his experience with Jyotika in a previous film, for her experienced artistry and kind nature, aiming to present her in a fresh light for audiences.
