Simon Cowell is continuing his health-related absence and will miss the two-night season finale of America's Got Talent. The series creator and judge, 66, was absent for the Tuesday, September 22nd episode. Host Terry Crews read a message from Cowell to the finalists, wishing them luck and playfully mentioning Mel B. Cowell is recovering from a routine procedure on his back, which caused him to miss a portion of filming for the 21st season. Influencer KSI is filling in as a guest judge, having previously served on Britain's Got Talent. Cowell had a serious back injury in August 2020 after falling off an electric bike, which required a five-hour operation and resulted in long-term nerve damage.
