Russell Simmons Surfaces at Kanye's Historic Indonesia Show

Russell Simmons made a surprise appearance alongside Kanye West ('Ye') backstage at his debut concert in Indonesia. The event, held on Saturday, October 24, at Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, saw the Def Jam co-founder and Ye sharing a warm reunion, captured in circulating footage. This concert was a significant milestone, marking Ye's first performance in Indonesia. It also served as the exclusive Southeast Asian stop for his 2026 Ye Live Concert Tour. The spectacular production included a unique 360-degree Globe Stage, complemented by impressive laser and pyrotechnic displays. The massive 77,000-seat venue was reportedly filled beyond its capacity for the memorable night.
