Adding to the excitement, David Howard Thornton, the actor who portrays the terrifying Art the Clown across the "Terrifier" film series, will be present. The convention is the brainchild of Spencer Charnas, the singer of Ice Nine Kills and a dedicated horror aficionado. Charnas, a native of Swampscott, has successfully translated his passion for slasher films into this growing convention.
Silver Scream Con V marks the third iteration of the event at the DCU Center. Over its five-year history, the convention has consistently expanded, offering a larger and more immersive experience for attendees.
