Siesta Key Star Faces Paternity Lawsuit
18 Feb
Summary
- Ex-fiancé sued to establish legal parentage.
- Court asked to order child support and custody.
- Legal action seeks to formalize financial responsibilities.

Alyssa Salerno has initiated legal proceedings against her former fiancé, Alex Kompothecras, a personality from the MTV series 'Siesta Key.' Salerno filed legal documents in Florida requesting the court to formally recognize Kompothecras as the father of their child, born in June 2020.
The petition calls for the establishment of legal parentage, an award of shared parental responsibility, and an equal time-sharing schedule. Salerno is also seeking child support calculated under Florida guidelines, retroactively applied from the date of their separation. She further requests that Kompothecras maintain health, dental, and vision insurance for their daughter and that uncovered medical expenses be divided proportionally. Costs for extracurricular activities and any private schooling are also requested to be shared.
Additionally, Salerno is seeking attorney's fees and costs, asserting that Kompothecras is in a superior financial position to cover these expenses. Separate filings have also requested financial disclosures necessary for determining child support. The legal action focuses on formalizing custody and financial obligations through the court system, without alleging abuse or misconduct.
Salerno and Kompothecras began their relationship in late 2019 during the filming of 'Siesta Key.' They became engaged in July 2024, with their daughter arriving in June 2020. Kompothecras has not yet responded to requests for comment.
