Siddharth: Bollywood Offers Dry, But Universe Delivers!

Actor Siddharth has explained his prolonged hiatus from Bollywood, attributing it to a scarcity of appealing role offers. He candidly shared that he is not being approached for projects that resonate with his artistic aspirations. Siddharth mentioned he can only accept or decline offers presented to him, and meaningful opportunities in Hindi cinema have been notably absent.

He views this situation without disappointment, believing that opportunities manifest at opportune moments. Siddharth reflected on his debut in 'Rang De Basanti' and now anticipates portraying Squadron Leader Ajay Ahuja in 'Operation Safed Sagar', a role he considers a significant career milestone, occurring two decades after his initial breakthrough.

Siddharth emphasized his consistent wait for projects that genuinely excite him, stating he has never actively pursued roles. He is content to decline offers or wait for a decade for a project like 'Operation Safed Sagar', while continuing to work annually in various languages. He also highlighted the importance of work-life balance, intentionally limiting his work schedule to spend more time with his wife, Aditi Rao Hydari, and family.

Open to work across different film industries, Siddharth is willing to travel wherever compelling opportunities arise, whether in India or internationally. He expressed gratitude for the chance to work on 'Operation Safed Sagar,' calling it a deeply meaningful experience and thanking the filmmakers for considering him after his long absence from Hindi cinema.
