The third season of the Emmy-nominated dramedy Shrinking is scheduled to premiere on January 28, concluding the series' planned three-season narrative arc. Co-creator Bill Lawrence has described the inaugural season as focusing on grief, the second on forgiveness, and the upcoming season on moving forward. This transition will be depicted through the individual journeys of the main characters.
Season 3 will feature a total of 11 episodes, a slight decrease from the previous season's 12. The premiere episode, airing on January 28, will be an hour long and introduce Michael J. Fox in a guest role as a patient with Parkinson's. Subsequent episodes will be released weekly every Wednesday until the season finale on April 8. New episodes are expected to be available at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesdays, prior to the official premiere date.
