'Shrimad Ramayan' Star Sujay Reu Celebrates Diwali with Family

As the 2025 Diwali festival approaches, actor Sujay Reu, who currently portrays Lord Rama in the popular series 'Shrimad Ramayan', is celebrating the occasion with a thoughtful perspective. Reu, known for his notable roles in shows like 'Ram Milaayi Jodi' and 'Siya Ke Ram', embodies a calm wisdom both on and off screen.

Reu shares his view on the significance of Diwali, emphasizing the daily battle between good and evil within each individual. He believes that if one has succeeded in not harming anyone or themselves by the end of the day, then the good has prevailed. Reu also acknowledges the exemplary way humanity stood up against the COVID-19 pandemic in the recent past.

For his Diwali resolution, Reu chooses mindfulness over control, explaining that he does not want to conquer his thoughts, positive or negative, as they are interconnected. Instead, he aims to avoid getting entangled in them and simply allow them to pass.

When it comes to celebrating the festival, Reu's plans are rooted in simplicity and family bonding. He looks forward to enjoying his mother's homemade gujiyas and spending time with his nephew, even bursting a few crackers together. For Reu, Diwali is not just about lights and festivities, but about illuminating the goodness within.
