Shiva Rajkumar Hints at Bigger Role in Jailer 2

Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar has officially confirmed his expanded role in the upcoming Rajinikanth starrer, Jailer 2. He revealed that his presence in the sequel will be more prominent than his initial cameo in the 2023 hit. Rajkumar is scheduled to commence his filming duties this week, with further shooting planned for the second week of January, building anticipation for his return.

The actor indicated that his involvement in Jailer 2 will be a 'longer cameo appearance,' suggesting a continuation of the narrative from the previous film. Directed by Nelson and produced by Sun Pictures, the film will once again feature Rajinikanth as 'Tiger' Muthuvel Pandian. Several other prominent cast members from the original are expected to return, alongside new additions.

Jailer 2 is slated for a worldwide theatrical release in 2026, with music composed by Anirudh Ravichander. Shiva Rajkumar is also preparing for the release of his own film, 45, scheduled for December 25. This confirmation of his larger role in the Jailer sequel is expected to excite fans eagerly awaiting the continuation of the blockbuster franchise.
