Shinde: TV Producers are White-Collar Mafias

Actress Shilpa Shinde has openly criticized television producers, referring to them as "white-collar mafias" who engage in unfair practices, including withholding artist payments for up to 90 days. She recently voiced her struggles and shared an instance of an actor facing unpaid dues, highlighting the systemic issues within the industry.

Shinde also conveyed her disappointment over the absence of support from fellow actors during her past controversies, particularly the "Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain" dispute. She admitted to filing a false sexual harassment case against producer Sanjay Kohli ten years prior, stating it was a response to contractual pressures that sought to restrict her career opportunities.

Her recent confession about the fake sexual harassment case has drawn significant attention and criticism. The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has urged the Chief Minister of Maharashtra to investigate the matter, emphasizing the damage false allegations can inflict on individuals and the credibility of genuine victims.

Despite the backlash, Shinde has maintained her stance, asserting that she did not expect support and would not justify her past actions. The controversy surrounding her exit from "Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain" in 2016 involved contract disagreements and alleged payment delays, which were eventually settled out of court.
