Shetty recently informed the Bombay High Court that she is withdrawing her application seeking permission to travel abroad. Her lawyer stated that the planned travel did not materialize and that the couple will file a fresh application in the future if they desire to travel internationally.
The legal case stems from a complaint filed by Deepak Kothari, who alleged that between 2015 and 2023, he was induced to invest Rs 60 crore in Shetty and Kundra's company, Best Deal TV Pvt Ltd. Kothari claimed that the funds were used for the couple's personal benefits instead of business purposes. Both Shetty and Kundra have been cooperating with the investigation, appearing for questioning as part of the probe conducted by the city police's Economic Offences Wing (EOW).
