Shia LaBeouf Drinks Daily Post-Battery Arrest

Shia LaBeouf is reportedly drinking alcohol daily, according to court documents obtained by TMZ. This revelation comes months after his arrest on three counts of misdemeanor battery during Mardi Gras in New Orleans.

As part of his criminal case, LaBeouf was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to attend an alcohol treatment class, having pleaded guilty to the charges. He has been compliant with his probation supervisor and is expected to complete anger management and substance abuse treatment by next month.

However, the court documents indicate that LaBeouf denied mental health treatment while self-reporting his daily drinking habits. A hearing was scheduled for September 23, but LaBeouf is not expected to attend as he is currently filming a movie.

This situation follows past statements from the actor in 2022 where he claimed over 600 days of sobriety, though he later expressed doubts about having a drinking problem or needing rehab following his arrest.
