In a move that is sure to excite fans of 90s cinema, it has been announced that Rachael Leigh Cook and Freddie Prinze Jr. will be reuniting for a special "She's All That" event at 90s Con 2026 in March. The beloved rom-com, which was released in January 1999, became a box office hit and one of the most popular teen movies of the late 1990s.
The reunion, which will take place 27 years after the film's debut, will see the two actors participate in photo ops and a panel Q&A, where they will share their memories from the set and discuss how the movie changed their lives. "It was one of the best experiences," Prinze told PEOPLE in June 2024, reflecting on the making of the film. "I was nervous as hell that I was going to get fired every day, but other than that anxiety, it was literally the best experience."
The 90s Con reunion is not the only collaboration in the works for Cook and Prinze. In May 2025, Fox Entertainment Studios announced that the pair would be co-starring in an upcoming holiday film titled "The Christmas Affair." The new movie will follow the two as sports broadcasters Natalie and Gabe, "who form an unlikely alliance after their spouses are caught cheating weeks before Christmas. As holiday chaos and media attention mount, they begin to fall for each other. But is this just a rebound...or the start of a real Christmas romance?"
The two actors have remained close friends over the years, with Cook recently appearing at the Los Angeles premiere of Prinze's 2024 movie "The Girl in the Pool." Prinze has also praised Cook, saying, "We're still super close friends to this day. I love her to death. She's like a sister to me."
