Sharib Hashmi, known for his role in 'The Family Man', is providing unwavering support to his wife, Nasreen, as she confronts cancer for the sixth time. This latest recurrence has seen the oral cancer spread to her lungs, bones, and kidney area. Nasreen's diagnosis is particularly poignant as she never consumed tobacco. The actor revealed that his wife's health battle began concurrently with his career's upward trajectory during the filming of 'The Family Man'.

Nasreen has undergone five surgeries, altering her facial features significantly, a change she sometimes misses. Despite these challenges, Hashmi emphasizes her resilience and positive outlook. He recounted the financial difficulties they faced early in his career, requiring him to request full advance payment from the producers to manage Nasreen's medical expenses. The family even sold their home to cope with the situation.
