Shalini Pandey Breaks Silence on Fake AI Video

Shalini Pandey has broken her silence regarding a fabricated AI-generated video of her that is currently circulating online. The actor took to Instagram to clarify that the disturbing content has no connection to her and strongly condemned the misuse of technology. She highlighted the particular harm such tools can inflict on women, stating that this type of abuse should never be normalized.

Pandey urged everyone who encounters the fake video to refrain from sharing or engaging with it and to report it immediately. She emphasized the importance of responsible online behavior to prevent the further dissemination of such malicious content. The actor's statement comes amid a growing concern over AI and deepfake technology being used to target celebrities.

Shalini Pandey is the latest Indian public figure to fall victim to deepfake technology. Previously, notable personalities such as Rashmika Mandanna, Alia Bhatt, Deepika Padukone, Katrina Kaif, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Sachin Tendulkar have also been targeted. Earlier this month, Mrunal Thakur also spoke out against fake content featuring her likeness, labeling it illegal and unacceptable.

Pandey, who debuted in the 2017 Telugu film Arjun Reddy, has since appeared in several other notable projects, including Mahanati, Jayeshbhai Jordaar, and Netflix's Maharaj. Her debut in Hindi cinema was with Jayeshbhai Jordaar.
