Viral BTS Video Fuels 'Shakti Shalini' Frenzy

A leaked behind-the-scenes video of Aneet Padda and Vishal Jethwa from Maddock Films' 'Shakti Shalini' has ignited widespread fan excitement. The viral footage reveals a lighthearted and romantic interaction between the lead actors, contrasting with the film's dark folklore roots. This supernatural horror-comedy builds upon the universe established by 'Stree' and 'Munjya.'

Padda plays a significant dual role, embodying both the benevolent creator and the destructive force within the narrative. Her character was first teased in the post-credits scene of 'Thamma' on October 21, 2025. The film also features veteran actors Nana Patekar, Seema Biswas, and Viineet Kumar Siingh.

Principal photography recently concluded with a climactic sequence filmed at Chitrarth Studio in Powai, Mumbai. Prior to this, extensive shooting occurred across Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh. 'Shakti Shalini' is scheduled to premiere in theaters on December 24, 2026.

This film marks a reunion for Padda and Jethwa, who previously collaborated on 'Salaam Venky' in 2022. Jethwa has previously praised Padda's authentic emotional performances, noting her dedication to her craft.
