Seth Rogen has offered a cryptic update on his secretive Figment movie adaptation, first announced in 2022. Speaking exclusively to Entertainment Weekly, Rogen hinted that he needs to "kick the tires" on the project, which he is producing and was not initially intended to star in.
The film is based on the beloved purple dragon character from Disney World's Epcot attraction, Journey Into Imagination With Figment, which has been a park staple since 1983.
Disney recently surprised fans at D23 by announcing the return of the Dreamfinder character to the Epcot ride. This Figment movie will join Disney's expanding slate of films inspired by its theme park attractions, following in the footsteps of projects like "Pirates of the Caribbean" and "Haunted Mansion."
