Seth Rogen Roasts WGA at SAG Awards

Seth Rogen received the SAG Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series, using the moment to humorously critique the Writers Guild of America (WGA). Rogen congratulated the Screen Actors Guild for managing to hold their awards ceremony, which streamed on Netflix. He suggested the WGA could learn from the actors guild's ability to pay its employees sufficiently to prevent cancellation.

This jab came shortly after the WGA West canceled its own ceremony, scheduled for March 8. The cancellation followed an internal conflict that led to the guild's staff union initiating a strike nearly two weeks prior. Rogen, who also created the Apple series for which he won, expressed his gratitude for being recognized as an actor for the evening.
