The competition culminates in the awarding of a €50,000 prize to the winning project on March 24, intended for further series development. The jury is headed by Jorge Pezzi, Head of Fiction and Entertainment at Movistar Plus+ in Spain, and includes Alexandre Piel from ARTE (France), Laura Mae Harding from ZDF (Germany), Alon Aranya of Paper Plane Productions (U.S.), and Johanna Gårdare from SVT (Sweden).
Series Mania Director, Francesco Capurro, highlighted the event's impact, noting that over 40 projects have been produced and broadcast globally since its inception. He emphasized its role as a development accelerator, providing producers with crucial opportunities to connect with co-producers, distributors, and broadcasters. The Series Mania Forum, running from March 20-27 in France, has historically served as a launchpad for successful international series.
