Newman, who has been with Semi-Formal for six years, previously served as Director of Development. His recent work includes producing the upcoming Apple TV+ drama "The Off Weeks" and contributing to projects such as "The Idea of You" and "The Dropout." He also oversees the Just for Laughs partnership and has a background in political campaigns and agency work.
Tipton, formerly a development coordinator, has been an associate producer on "Verity" and worked on the comedy "Oh. What. Fun." She is currently involved in the development of a new adaptation of "Serendipity" for Amazon MGM and Miramax. Her prior experience includes work with comedians at Haven Entertainment.
