In a recent episode of Rise and Fall Season 2, host Virender Sehwag addressed contestant Shehzad Poonawalla's use of the term 'vamp' towards fellow contestant Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. Sehwag firmly asked Poonawalla to retract the statement, making it clear that such language would not be tolerated.
"I will not allow this. Take back your words. You cannot use such language about any girl," Sehwag stated during the show. Poonawalla attempted to justify his remark by referencing an earlier altercation with another contestant, Siwet Tomar.
Sehwag cautioned all participants about maintaining decorum, reminding them of previous discussions and warnings concerning inappropriate language. He highlighted that the issue of offensive speech had been addressed multiple times on the show. Actress Swara Bhasker, also a contestant, joined the conversation, suggesting the context might differ if a woman were involved in the incident Poonawalla mentioned.
Rise and Fall Season 2, hosted by former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag, streams daily new episodes at 12 noon.
