A security guard has issued an apology, taking full responsibility for an incident that occurred on March 21st. He clarified that he was present on behalf of another individual and not affiliated with singer Chappell Roan's personal security team or management. The controversy began when soccer player Jorginho claimed his 11-year-old stepdaughter had an upsetting encounter with one of Roan's security personnel at a hotel.

Jorginho alleged that a security guard approached his wife and daughter aggressively, accusing the child of disrespect and harassment, which left the daughter shaken and crying. The security guard explained his actions were a judgment call based on hotel information and prior events, and that his interaction with the mother was calm. Chappell Roan, however, denied asking the guard to speak with the child or her mother, asserting that security acted on their own assumptions.

Roan expressed regret that the mother and child felt uncomfortable, stating she does not hate fans or children. The child's mother, Cat Cavelli, confirmed the security guard was not from the hotel and appeared to be working with Roan, though she remained unsure if Roan directly instructed him. Cavelli emphasized that celebrities have a responsibility to ensure their staff acts appropriately.
