Seattle's Sky Ablaze: Seafair's Fiery Spectacle

This Saturday, Seattle's Seafair will feature an impressive 18-minute fireworks display, a highlight of the Fourth of July celebrations. The event requires a staggering 10,000 pounds of fireworks, meticulously prepared over the past year by Dave Fitzgibbon's team at Western Display Fireworks.

Preparation for the dazzling show began a full year prior to the event. The crew spent approximately two days arranging and assembling the fireworks, their fuses, and launch tubes. These components were all carefully transported and staged on a barge located in Seattle's Lake Union.

Fitzgibbon expressed that the effort will be worthwhile when the crowd erupts in cheers during America's 250th birthday celebration. Tickets for the Seafair fireworks show at Gas Works Park are currently available for purchase on the official Seafair website.
