Two former stars from the CBS series "SEAL Team," Judd Lormand and Beau Knapp, are joining the cast of the "Yellowstone" spinoff "Marshals." They will both be recurring characters in the new show, which is set to premiere on Sunday, November 22. This reunion extends beyond the actors, as "Marshals" showrunner Spencer Hudnut previously served in the same capacity for the final five seasons of "SEAL Team."
Judd Lormand, who was a regular on all seven seasons of "SEAL Team" as Commander Eric Blackburn, will play Eddie. His character is described as a Homeland Security Investigations officer visiting from New York, getting ready for a high-profile trial. Eddie is characterized as grounded, a father, a former athlete, and someone who values directness and strong instincts.
Beau Knapp, who joined "SEAL Team" in its last season as Officer Drew Franklin, will take on the role of Eric. Eric is depicted as the charismatic leader of a farming cult suspected of operating a significant counterfeit alcohol scheme. He is a master manipulator with a perceived God complex, known for his calm demeanor in tense situations and his ability to exploit others' vulnerabilities.
"SEAL Team" originally aired on CBS from 2018 to 2021 before moving to Paramount+ until its conclusion in 2024. Since then, Lormand has appeared in projects like "Tyler Perry's Duplicity" and "Cape Fear." Knapp has been seen on "FBI: International" and as a series regular in "Tulsa King."
